November and the holiday season are just around the corner... both of which tend to bring times of reflection, appreciation, and joy.

We can all agree that this has been the most challenging year we all have faced in a very long time, if not ever. We understand everyone is frustrated. That being said, we felt like we could all use some positive vibes, so we're starting a week early!

Our challenge to you: Please comment with at least ONE positive outcome (or silver lining), in the midst of "The Year 2020".

Through all of the challenges and unknowns, we keep hearing "We never would have (learned, pivoted, had time to, etc.)___________, if we weren't "forced" to because of the pandemic."

What positive outcomes have you witnessed/experienced either for the community, your favorite business(es), or on a personal note?

October is here! Making Strides Against Breast Cancer's Month. Most everyone is aware that this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month, most think this is a female thing but more every year we are learning that Breast cancer has no gender preference. Just as most of us have probably either lost a close family member or a friend to this awful disease, and if you have not you are very fortunate.
Because of this crazy pandemic we are living thru right now Astera Credit Union can not host their annual bake sale, however it is still important for us to support those with cancer!

Astera Credit Union Employees have come up with the idea to paint inspirational rocks to place in their lobbies for sale by donation for co-workers and members of the community to purchase…SUPER AWESOME IDEA!
