Portland Downtown

Tina ConnerWellman is the Managing Director for Portland Downtown.  A graduate of Spring Arbor University with a Bachelors in Business Administration,  she has equally divided her careers between hospitality consulting, health care administration, and business/ community organization.  She brings with her expertise in strengthening business communities, providing resources and collaborating with local, regional and state organizations.  Tina is also a strong facilitator of programs and activities that offer a positive sense of place for residents, businesses and visitors alike.

Tina is no stranger to our area, she was born and raised in Ionia County.  Her husband Scott Wellman, and her mother (Fandel/Werner families) have been in Portland for generations and maintain strong family ties here. She loves putting her energy, dedication and experience to work building a stronger, more vibrant MiPortland.
